The size of storage unit needed depends upon the individual or business, and how often access is required. Access at American E-Z Self Storage is free and unlimited during our extensive opening hours.

If you require access to your goods on a regular basis, it is advised that you obtain a storage unit large enough to create small aisles for easy access. However, if the goods that will be stored do not require regular access, then a smaller storage unit with the goods stacked carefully and using the same size boxes or shelving will fit the bill.

The following is an estimate* of the storage unit size you may require:

1 bedroom house/flat	50-65 square feet
2 bedroom house/flat	70-80 square feet
3 bedroom house/flat	85-125 square feet
4 bedroom house/flat	150-200 square feet

On average, the contents of a Transit van will be equivalent to 50 square feet*, and the contents of a Luton van will be equivalent to 75 square feet*.
